Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how FURGON (website and mobile apps) processes personal data of shippers, carriers and their staff. By using the Service you confirm that you have read this Policy.

1. Controller and legal basis

The data controller is a legal entity of the Republic of Kazakhstan operating under the FURGON brand (the “Controller”, “we”). Contact details are on the Contacts page.

Processing follows the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Personal Data and Their Protection” and other applicable rules. Bases include consent, performance of a contract (Terms / SaaS subscription), and the Controller’s legitimate interest in platform security.

2. Data we collect

2.1. Data you provide

  • Sign-up and login: phone and/or email, verification code, password (hashed), UI language.
  • Profile and company: name, role, company name, BIN/IIN (if provided), company type, addresses, staff, fleet data.
  • Listings and deals: routes, cargo details, rates, deadlines, payment terms, contacts in listings.
  • Subscription billing: data needed to invoice and record platform access fees (full card data is not stored on our servers when a payment provider processes payment).
  • Support: messages and attachments.

2.2. Data collected automatically

  • IP address, device/browser type, request timestamps, session IDs.
  • In-product activity: listing views, contact reveals, saved searches, favourites, security logs.
  • Technical cookies and local storage required for auth and the workspace.

3. Verification codes: WhatsApp, SMS and email

For registration, login and account recovery we may send one-time passwords (OTP) to your phone or email.

  • WhatsApp: when this channel is selected or available, the code may be delivered via the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta Platforms, Inc.). Your phone number and the service message content (the code) are shared with Meta / WhatsApp solely for authentication.
  • SMS and email: codes may be sent via telecom and email providers.

By providing a phone number when requesting a code, you consent to receive transactional OTP messages. These are not marketing messages. You cannot opt out of OTP if you need verified-contact features; you may use another available channel (e.g. email) or stop registration.

Meta processes data under WhatsApp Business rules and Meta’s privacy policy. We do not send Meta your listings, passwords or workspace content beyond what is required to deliver the OTP.

4. How we use data

  • account creation and authentication;
  • SaaS exchange features: posting and searching loads/trucks, contacts, notifications, counterparty checks, trip workflows;
  • subscription billing for platform access;
  • security and abuse prevention;
  • support and product improvement;
  • legal compliance.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party targeted advertising.

5. Contacts in listings

Listing contacts are hidden by default and revealed to other users only after an explicit action in the workspace. By publishing a listing you confirm you may share those contacts with exchange participants within the Service.

6. Sharing with third parties

  • infrastructure providers (hosting, DB, email, push) under contract and only as needed;
  • Meta / WhatsApp for OTP delivery when that channel is used;
  • payment providers for subscription fees;
  • authorities when legally required.

Other users only see information you make available through exchange features.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep data while the account is active and as needed for contracts, accounting, security and law. You may request account deletion via info@furgon.kz or the Contacts page. Some records may be retained in limited form where required by law or to protect users’ rights.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, restricted production access, secure token storage and related measures. Absolute security online is not guaranteed: use a strong password and do not share account access.

9. Your rights

You may request access, correction, restriction, deletion (subject to law), withdrawal of consent, and information about processing. Contact: info@furgon.kz or Contacts.

10. Changes

The current Policy is published on this page with an updated date. Material changes may also be announced in the Service.
